The advantages of multi grade oils

Multi grade oils because of containing special additives, in start-up temperature, are like the 20W or SAE 10W light oils, it means the engine starts easily and the oil reaches all engine parts quickly and all parts are lubricated well. With warming up the engine, the viscosity of oil reaches 40 or 50 oil viscosity, so in the warmth the lubricant layer is remained among engine parts and separates them from each other well. On the other hand the usage of these kinds of oils is possible in wider temperature range.

Whereas the 80% of engine moving parts wear is occurred in start-up step and when the engine is usually cold, so the lubrication of components is essential and it is necessary to use multi grade oils which have lower viscosity in cold weather. These oils compared with mono grades result in decreasing fuel consumption between 1.5 to 3%. These oils provide more protection of engine in low and high temperatures than mono grade oils and have optimum viscosity in the engine temperature range.

Multi Grade vs. Mono Grade oils

·         Use of one oil for all seasons of year

·         Easy engine start-up in low temperatures

·         Excellent efficiency in high temperatures

·         Fuel combustion reduction
